__ Rabbits To The Moon __

๐Ÿฐ Introduction ๐Ÿฅ•

This project is a 2D platformer with varied obstacles. The gameplay focuses on creating a sense of speed and a low gravity, moon-like experience, providing players with a satisfying feeling of movement. The player must jump to gain a speed boost, if they don't jump after a certain time, they return to their initial speed. The goal is to manage jumps effectively to maintain this speed boost and reach the end of each level while dodging obstacles.

Simple yet unique platformer centered on a continuous jump timing mechanic, along with basic platforming elements. I also aimed to push feedback effects as far as possible to enhance the jumping mechanics and the feeling of speed

๐Ÿ‡ More Information ๐ŸŒ‘

 - Advanced Jump Mechanics: The jump is fine-tuned to deliver a smooth and adjustable experience with modifiable values, including features like coyote time for precise and intuitive jumps

 - "Fake Hunter": This system adds tension to the game by simulating an enemy that chases the player and shoots at intervals, requiring players to time their jumps to dodge projectiles.

- Co-op Mini-game "Red Light, Green Light": Inspired by the childhood game, two players race while avoiding eye contact with the hunter.

- Dynamic Platforms: Various platform types, such as moving platforms, destructible platforms, and low- and high-gravity zones, add unique challenges for players.

- Shop System: Players can purchase skins with in-game collectibles.

 - Use of Unity's Scriptable Objects for Customization: This system allows the collectibles collected, skins purchased, and selected skins to be saved across scenes.

- Smooth Transitions: Fade-in and fade-out transitions accompany scene changes, enhancing visual continuity.

 - Tutorial Texts: Strategically placed trigger boxes activate instructional texts, guiding players through the game in context.

 - Background Parallax: A parallax background adds visual depth, with a dynamic foreground to enhance immersion.

 - Visual Feedback Effects: To emphasize the sense of speed, I incorporated various effects such as camera shake, shape animations, post-processing, and particle systems.
